The annual July 4th weekend Flag tournament is held all day today. The tournament is open to all members. Tee off with at least one partner anytime during the day. The object of the tournament is to place a flag where your "last shot" comes to rest. Your "last shot" is determined by your 85% of your course handicap. For example, if 85% of your course handicap is 16, then you would place your flag where your 88th shot comes to rest (par 72 plus 16). Continue playing until you have reached your number especially if it means continuing beyond the 18th hole. Prizes are awarded to those players whose flag is planted the farthest (e.g., 2 shots into the 20th hole).
