Paul Doherty
Superintendent
Paul first got involved with caring for golf courses while working at Framingham Country Club while in high school and college. After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and an Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Paul decided to make a carreer in the golf industry. He attended the U-Mass turf winter school program in 1991 and went on to work at Colonial Golf Club, Old Barnstable Fairgrounds Golf Club, Blue Rock Golf Club, Cummaquid Golf Club and Oyster Harbors Club.
In December 2002, Paul joined Sharon Country Club and has been our Superintendent for 18 years now. He and his staff keep our course lush, green, and fast. If you've wondered how it is you played 100 rounds on the same track and enjoyed them all, Paul is the answer. You can thank him each round you play by filling your divots and fixing your ball marks!
